What is IVANS Connect?

IVANS Connect is the insurance industry event dedicated to advancing the industry’s information exchange – connecting insurers, agencies, MGAs and their insureds through digital technology. What education sessions are offered?

IVANS Connect offers unique educational sessions tailored to both solution providers, insurers and MGAs. The conference offers both business and technical content addressing critical topics in insurance information exchange and connectivity among insurers, agencies and their insureds.

Who are the session presenters?

The faculty roster includes subject-matter experts who are agents, insurers and agency management systems representatives, industry and association representatives and IVANS professional staff.

What are the dates for IVANS Connect?

September 24 – 25, 2017

How do I register for IVANS Connect?

You can register online from February 15 – September 18, 2017 or register onsite at the venue from September 24 – 27, 2017.

Is there a discount for registering early?

Yes. Early Bird discounts apply through May 19, 2017. Visit the Registration page to view complete registration details.

What is the deadline for registration?

Early Bird Registration is February 15 – May 19, 2017. Pre-Registration is May 20 – July 22, 2017. Regular Registration is July 23 – September 18, 2017. After September 18, registration will be accepted onsite only at the IVANS Connect venue September 24 – 25, 2017. Spouse/Guest Full Registration and Spouse/Guest Evening Events Only must be purchased in advance. These options will not be available onsite.

Can I register at IVANS Connect?

Onsite registration is available September 24 – 25, 2017. Full Conference (IVANS Connect and Applied Net) Registration for insurers and MGAs onsite is $1,299 for Applied Client Network members and $1,499 for non-members. IVANS Connect-only Conference Registration for solutions providers is $349.

Why are there different registration fees for insurers and solutions providers?

Insurer/MGA Full Conference registration fees include access to all IVANS Connect sessions/events and access to Applied Net programming, speakers and evening events. IVANS Connect-only Conference Registration fees include access to all IVANS Connect sessions/events only.

What forms of payment are accepted for registration?

We accept MasterCard®, Visa® or American Express®. All balances MUST be paid in full prior to the event or you will not receive your credentials onsite.

Is there a group registration discount?

Yes. IVANSConnect/Applied Net is offering a discount on Full Conference Registration after the third registrant from the same agency or brokerage (The discount applies with the fourth person and all subsequent registrations). Please contact the Applied Client Network at 800.383.2952 for group registrations.

What is included in my registration fee?

Full Conference Registration for Insurers and MGAs includes IVANS Connect Sunday evening reception and educational sessions, Applied Net exhibits and general sessions, and published meals/evening events. IVANS Connect-only Conference Registration includes IVANS Connect Sunday evening reception, IVANS Connect educational sessions and published meals.

Why can’t agency solution providers attend Applied Net?

Applied Net offers a conference track specifically for insurers. Insurers attending IVANS Connect are permitted to attend Applied Net to take advantage of these sessions. Applied Net does not offer programming specifically for agency solution providers.

Can I bring my spouse or another guest?

Yes. There are two registration options for spouses/guests. Spouse/Guest Full Registration is $629 and includes exhibits, published meals and evening events but does not include educational sessions. Spouse/Guest Evening Event Only is $179 (per person per event) and allows conference registrants to purchase a ticket to the Tuesday and/or Wednesday evening event. This does not include any other meal functions or exhibits. Attendees to evening events must be 21 years of age or older. Spouse/Guest Full Registration and Spouse/Guest Evening Event Only registration must be purchased in advance. These options will not be available onsite.

What should I do when I arrive?

Visit the IVANS Connect registration desk during open hours to check in and pick up your conference materials. The registration desk will be open (Eastern Time):

  • Sunday, Sept. 24: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Monday, Sept. 25: 7 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Your official conference badge is required for admittance to all IVANS Connect and Applied Net daytime and evening events. If you misplace your badge during the conference, please seek assistance at the IVANS Connect registration desk.

If I have a question that's not addressed in these FAQ, where should I direct it?

What is the cancellation policy?

All cancellations can be made online. A 10% fee will be charged for each cancelled registration received on or before May 19, 2017. Cancellations received between May 19, 2017 and September 24, 2017 will receive a refund of 50%. No refunds will be given after September 24, 2017. Substitutions, however, may be made at any time. No-shows, without prior written notice, are responsible for payment in full. Applied Client Network and Applied Systems are not responsible for non-refundable airfares or change fees incurred as a result of cancelled airline flights or changes imposed by the airlines due to inclement weather or scheduling changes. Hotel reservations should be cancelled directly with the host resort.

FAQ: Travel, Venue and Local Interests

Which property will host the educational sessions and exhibits during IVANS Connect and Applied Net?

The MGM Grand Las Vegas is the primary location for educational sessions, exhibits and housing.

What attire is appropriate for IVANS Connect and Applied Net?

Business casual attire is appropriate for all  conference events.

Are there any activities outside of the conference hotel? If so, is transportation provided?

While entertainment activities for Applied Net 2017 are still being finalized, you can rest assured that for any scheduled conference activities away from MGM Grand Las Vegas, transportation will be provided.

If I want to extend my stay in Las Vegas beyond Applied Net, where can I get information on local attractions?

Are there any airlines and/or transportation discounts available?

Yes, select providers are offering discounts on airfare, shuttle service and rental cars to IVANS Connect attendees. Visit the Travel page for complete information about all available discounts.

Is the Resort Services Package fee mandatory and what does it include?

Yes, this is a mandatory fee and includes the following: Unlimited local phone calls and 800 number calls up to 60 minutes in length, long distance access (credit card and collect calls), 20 minutes of domestic long distance per day, complimentary bottled water replenished daily, high speed Internet access, and unlimited admission to the fitness centers.
